We obtain personal data about you lawfully and fairly and we attempt to ensure that the personal data is both accurate and kept up to date. The personal information we collect is for the purposes of:

  • Approving and administering your policy/contract;
  • Underwriting and reinsuring the risk and processing claims;
  • Statistical or actuarial research performed by our company, our affiliates, or the insurance industry;
  • Promotional offers of new or additional products and/or services.
  • Providing any alterations, variations, cancellation or renewal of such product or service; and
  • Verifying accuracy of our data.

What Information We Disclose and To Whom We Disclose It

We may disclose the personal data we collect, as described above, to our affiliates, agents and/or other persons or companies that perform services on our behalf in connection with providing, administering and servicing the products you purchase from us. We may also disclose the personal data to association, federation or the Federation, any related company or any other company carrying on insurance or reinsurance related business or an intermediary or a claims or investigation or other service provider providing services relevant to insurance business for any of the above or related purposes. In addition the Federation may disclose the personal data to any members of the "Federation" for any of the above or related purposes. Our "affiliates" are companies with which we share common ownership and which offer life insurance and pension and savings products.

Your Right to Verify Accuracy of Information We Collect

Keeping your information accurate and up to date is very important to us. You may access and ask us to correct personal data about you that we collect except for information relating to a claim or a criminal or civil proceeding. Requests for such access can be made to us.

We restrict access to your personal data and only allow disclosures to persons and companies as permitted by law to assist in providing products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal data.
